In the Hoop 3D Puff Bag Tags – 7 Shapes in 5 Sizes
Stitch raised, padded bag tags completely in the hoop. Each tag has a dense satin border over puff foam for a real 3D edge, a finished strap hole, and room in the middle for a name, initial or monogram. Make them for school bags, luggage, sports gear, stockings and gift tags – they are quick to stitch and great sellers at craft fairs.

How to download
- Add to cart and check out – no shipping, nothing is mailed.
- Right after payment go to My Account → Downloads and download the ZIP file and the PDF (you can download them again later).
- Unzip it on a computer (right-click → Extract All on Windows, double-click on Mac).
- Open the folder for your tag shape, then your machine format, and pick the size.
- Personalize in your software (or use the BX font in Embrilliance), then copy the file to a USB stick or send it to your machine.
Stitching tips
- Use 2–3 mm 3D puff foam (3 mm gives the strongest puff) in a color close to your satin thread.
- Vinyl, faux leather, cork or felt all work for the tag. Hoop a medium tear-away or cut-away stabilizer tightly.
- After stitching, tear away the extra foam and stabilizer and cut out the tag next to the satin edge. A quick pass with a heat gun shrinks any foam fibers that peek out.
- Embrilliance users: if the placement and tackdown stitches disappear after saving, open Preferences › Jumps/Overlap and uncheck Remove overlaps when saving stitch files.
